Preschool Activities All About Spring

What do you think about when you hear the word SPRING?

Spring makes me think of the cycle of life, crazy weather, gardening, Earth day and Easter fun. I have some ideas to share with you along with some fellow blogger’s ideas. I’m am so impressed how talented these mamas are and I want to thank them for helping me out.

it's officially

I have said in the past, I don’t have a green thumb! I’ve been able to get a few things to grow. But I think I over water them or don’t give them enough sunlight. With that said, I did make a seed book for kids to help them learn about seeds. Take a look >>HERE<< Lucky for you I will share some ideas that will help you with your garden from fellow bloggers.

The Krieger’s have taught their children to make their own garden. Not only are they growing plants and veggies but mama is growing her patience as well:) This is a great way for the children to learn responsibility and they will have something to show for in the end. Take a look at the full post >>here<<, you don’t want to miss out on the adorable pictures. If you want great ideas on growing herbs, go check out Ariana Dagan >>here<<.

The cycle of life is a beautiful way to teach your children about life and how animals and insects grow. My boys are all about an insect’s life cycle. Missy Parlane has a beautiful blog with amazing printables of the life cycle for sea turtles, insects, frogs, and chicken. She also has games and activities to enjoy, so head over to her blog here to check out the whole post.

Easter is just around the corner and I have a lot to share with you. I have made some bunny loves you canvas artwork to give grandparents for Easter.

There are so many things you can do with plastic eggs. Over the years I have done so many activities that I will have to share one day. I love the way Cindy Hemming created her post. She did a great way of breaking down each activity. We have already tried some of these activities and love them. Head over to her post and have fun this Easter.

I have also created a weather blog post you can do with your children. There are a lot of fun ideas you can do with this beautiful Spring weather. Don’t forget that Earth day is a big part of Spring. My boys love walking around our neighborhood and picking up trash. Learning about trees and planting trees in our community are lots of fun. Take a look at some of my preschool/kindergarten learning papers >>HERE<<. They also like to make recyclable art.

Last Spring we found some tadpoles that we watch grow. Unfortunately, we have not found any this year. We also caught a caterpillar and were very excited to watch the process of a butterfly but our pups got a hold of it and ate it:(

We use these little activities in the Spring.

I hope you enjoyed all these Spring activities and don’t forget to check out all the links. I had a lot of fun creating this post and happy to be apart of a great blogging community.
