Vegan and gluten free apple dessert
Hey there, I hope you guys are enjoying this nice Fall weather. I love everything about Fall and want to share this amazing no crust, easy, gluten free apple pie recipe. I’m not a pro baker but I really enjoyed this Fall recipe and I hope you enjoy too.
We went to North Carolina Sky Top Apple Orchard a few years ago and we loved it, you can check the post here! But we had so much fun picking different kinds of apples. If you decide to check out an orchard this year make sure you grab a few extra apples for this pie.
We had a sale on some Fuji apples at our local story this week and I had to get some because our theme (for homeschooling) was APPLES. We made homemade apple sauce and I decided to make a no crust apple pie for the kiddos.
I have been gluten and dairy free for almost three years and I have been loving it. But with that said, I love making and eating desserts especially Fall desserts. So, I have made some of my favorite recipes and added an alternative. Some have turned out better than others and that’s when I have to share it with you guys.
This pie is so good. Even my husband liked it and it’s hard to please him when it comes to desserts. I just had to share this gluten free and vegan apple pie with you.
Ingredients you need:
- 5 Fuji Apples
- 1 cup and 1TBPS. Of Cane sugar

- Pinch of Salt

Pre-heat oven to 325F
Apple Pie Recipe
Apple Pie Topping-
In small bowl add your chia seed and water mix and set aside. Add your remaining ingredients and mix. Once your other ingredients are mixed add your chia seed mixture in and continue to mix. Add topping to sliced apples in your pan. Smooth it out evenly and put in oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Make sure you check it after one hour. The topping should have a light brown on top when done. When it is hot it will not cut very pretty but it is so good! Once it cools cover with foil and place in the fridge. This pie tastes just as good cold and of course cuts a lot better. This apple pie recipe came just in time for the holidays.
This is perfect for the family that is vegan or if you are attending a vegan holiday party. If you bring this pie nobody would believe you its vegan😊 If you never used chia seed for an egg, it’s super easy and tastes great. I have used it in a lot of baking and had no issues before. It is a healthy seed and can be on top of yogurt or in smoothies.
I really creating these fun desserts for you and you might be interested in my no bake vegan brownies or my gluten and dairy free chocolate chip cookies. The holidays are coming so make sure you save this recipe and share with your friends. Love ya, Mary xoxo
